TRAINING HUBS
“It is not the Church of God that has a mission in the world, but the God of mission who has a Church in the world.” (Tim Dearborn)
“We have come to see that mission is not merely an activity of the church. Rather, mission is the result of God’s initiative, rooted in God’s purposes to restore and heal creation.” (Darrell Guder )
Forge Training (9-12 month programme)
Through a series of inspiring, reflective and practical workshops, practitioners learn how to join God in His mission to the world through understanding and navigating the new missional seascape in their particular life context. Building upon these foundations, practitioners cultivate missional imagination, develop missional life skills, and develop spiritual formation that shape and sustain missional practice. The ongoing journey moves finally to providing the skills for cultivating missional leadership, discipleship cultures and the forming and multiplication of new communities.
Forge Coaching
Each Forge practitioner receives coaching sessions throughout the year, by a trained coach to help them connect training with everyday living.
Forge Learning Community
Each Forge practitioner joins a learning community that meets for support, discussion, prayer, reflection and encouragement.
Forge Life Context
Each Forge practitioner will explore new missional opportunities within an existing or new life setting. Forge helps us to integrate missional living whether we work, rest or play.

Forge Formation
Each Forge practitioner will be encouraged to develop theologically and spiritually through the training and coaching, suggested readings, and social media that are designed to support life and missional formation.
WHAT WILL IT COST?
The cost of Forge is £495 for the year. This includes all costs of the training, coaching, and resources that participants will be given. We encourage participants to explore opportunities for funding from local churches, sponsors, family, agencies or denominations.
